Dining Registry No.6: Castle Couture
Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 2:10PM Today is the last of French Week with Classic Bride, and I'm happy to end on such a high note!
Sarah's Castle Couture wedding was the perfect inspiration for a luxurious table, but this grandeur costs less than you may think. Pairing wonderful sales and sets with a few investment pieces creates a room fit for a modern-day Marie Antoinette!
Style: Dreamy elegance, sweet and light as a French macaroon
Palette: Gold, soft grey, pink champagne, duchess blue

Top row: Grand Duchess {Flatware Set} from Horchow, $200 for twelve five-piece place settings; Fleur de Lis {Double Old-Fashioneds & High-Balls}, sets of four for $50 at Horchow; and my new and most fervent must-have, Ivana Helsinki's Saimaa collection. Her {Small Plate Set} of two is shown here in grey, $70 from Hygge & West.
Middle row: Trianon {Dinnerware} at Horchow, from $250 for a serveware set; Palazzo {Table Linens} in Ecru from Le Jacquard, cloth from $185 and napkins for $20; and gorgeous Wilderness {Wallpaper} from Hygge & West, $115 per roll.
Bottom row: The ultimate {Cupcake Stand} from Horchow, on sale for $65(!); the Saimaa {Mug}, $24 in aqua at Hygge & West; and Le Jacquard Fleurs Gourmandes {Table Linens} in Meringue, table runner from $99 and napkins for $28.
Sarah, thank you so much for collaborating with me! Our French Week has been wonderfully fun, and I hope new readers from Classic Bride have enjoyed it as much as I have.
